Mike Borgia is an Italian American blues rock singer-songwriter. Born in New York, Mike spent his teens playing clubs as guitarist and backup singer in a progressive metal band. His style spawned from post hardcore, punk and indie rock. In the 1990s into the early 2000s he fronted a popular indie rock band “Tread.” In 2001 Mike embarked on a solo career and over the next decade performed several tours of the UK while releasing nine solo records. His UK tours garnered him a loyal fanbase which allowed him to maintain a steady career as a touring recording artist. In 2011 he formed the band “The Problems” in New York. He released 2 albums, 2 E.P's and several singles. Today he releases a variety of songs, with primary focus on writing, recording and performing songs as Mike Borgia. Mikes solo performances have been the most profound, timeless and reachable; in a similar aesthetic to Dallas Green, Chris Cornell and Gary Clark Jr.
